Shipping policy

We take great care to ensure your order arrives safely and as quickly as possible. Every parcel is packed with love and care from our Mornington Peninsula warehouse, and we’re here to help if you ever have questions about delivery.


Delivery Charges

We offer $9.95 flat-rate shipping for small homewares and gifts under 5kg, Australia-wide.
Orders over $150 receive free standard shipping. (excluding oversized items)

For larger or heavier parcels over 5kg, a $39.95 flat-rate shipping fee applies.
For oversized items such as furniture, lighting, and large artworks, please contact us for a custom quote via our Contact Form before placing your order.

If you need your order in a hurry, Express Post is available for $20, Australia-wide.

All delivery costs are clearly displayed at checkout before payment is confirmed.


Domestic (Australia) Shipping

  • All orders are sent via Australia Post.

  • Standard delivery timeframes are typically 5–10 business days, and Express Post is usually 1–3 business days, depending on your location.

  • You’ll receive a tracking link once your order has been dispatched.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or due to unforeseen delays.

While we do everything we can to ensure your order arrives on time, Nest & Bird is not liable for delays caused by postal or courier services, incorrect addresses, or events beyond our control.


International Shipping

At this time, we don’t routinely ship outside Australia.
If you’d like a quote for international delivery, please reach out via our Contact Form with your location and the item you’re interested in.

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient.


Failed or Delayed Deliveries

  • Please double-check your delivery address at checkout, as we can’t take responsibility for lost parcels due to incorrect or incomplete details.

  • If a parcel is returned to us because it couldn’t be delivered or wasn’t collected, re-delivery fees will apply.

  • Once an order is marked delivered by the carrier, we are unable to replace or refund missing parcels. Please check safe drop locations or with neighbours first.

  • During busy seasons or sale periods, please allow a little extra time for processing and delivery.
